Description
This is a hand carved wall sculpture of a flying redhead duck organically emerging from a piece of driftwood. The piece of wood was salvaged from a lake flooded in 1936, so this wood has history!
The head is made of sugar pine- a fine carving wood, which was carefully carved and textured to blend with the driftwood, then painted in artist’s oil paints. It is truly one of a kind.
